4. Donations, Grants & Tax Status Disclosure
Fundação Lakhani is a legally instituted Portuguese private foundation (Deed of 27 July 2023, restated 24 November 2025). The Foundation has submitted its application for Public Utility Status (Estatuto de Utilidade Pública) to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM). Until Public Utility Status is formally gazetted in the Diário da República, donations to the Foundation do not automatically confer tax deductibility benefits under the Portuguese Tax Incentives Statute (Estatuto dos Benefícios Fiscais – EBF).
5. Event Pre-Registrations & Competitions
Submitting an expression of interest or pre-registration form (such as for the Festival Gandhi Youth Creative Competition) does not constitute a binding contract. Definitive entry rules, age categories, deadlines, and criteria are published separately by the organizing partners.
